The Purpose

Persuade and influence to gain support and share responsibility!

The purpose of “4-Elements to Empower to Gain Buy-In” is to equip participants with tools and techniques to shift ownership and share responsibilities by consensus. This workshop will help participants’ to acquire four elements to lead by collaboration:

  • Align objectives, needs and expectations
  • Level the playing field
  • Motivate to assume responsibilities
  • Shift power to gain ownership

The Problem

Many problems occur when authority attempts to shift ownership to his team members without consensus. Team members may seem to accept responsibilities but most often they are disengaged and lack buy-in. Authoritative style of communications is often perceived as controlling and forceful. People lack motivation which results in:

  • Limited cooperation and support
  • Resistance and resentment
  • Lack of ownership –“I do it because I have to.”
  • Rift in the relationship
  • Mediocre results

Workshop Questions

Participants develop tools to influence and persuade others to shift and share responsibility. Do you know:
